Some thoughts about paintwork…
Welded trailers are available in bare metal, primed or fully painted. They rust quite quickly so priming is a good idea but you can save money by doing the painting yourself. Bear in mind that a super-smooth glossy car body finish is not required – in their orginal glory, they were complete with an ‘agricultural’ paint finish – so you can probably paint it well enough, and the good thing is you can take your time. We will blast and paint it if you wish – current prices are £625 for a body; and £450 for a chassis.
