The ADROIT BRAKE CONTROL for FERGUSON T20 TRACTORS
The ADROIT BRAKE CONTROL gives the operator a hand lever to activate the brake pawl remotely.
No need to reach down and get muddy fingers, just move the lever on the side of the gearbox and the brake pawl is engaged and held in position.
To put the brake on, move the hand lever to the ‘ON’ position and press the brake pedal down. The torsion spring will push the pawl against the rack and hold it there. The brake cannot be accidentally released when getting on and off the tractor.
ADROIT ‘ON’
To release the brake, move the lever to the ‘OFF’ position and press the brake pedal down. The spring will now swing the pawl back and the brakes can be released.
ADROIT ‘OFF’
Fitting is easy. Slacken the two offside gearbox cover bolts and slide the ADROIT BRAKE CONTROL on to the side of the gearbox. Tighten the bolts. Remove the clevis pin and the existing pawl and replace with the ADROIT BRAKE CONTROL pawl and a new clevis pin.
